Your presence in Steamboat truly is the greatest gift. We know it takes time, money, vacation days, and a healthy amount of patience with airlines to make it to a wedding in the mountains, and we’re so grateful you’re making the trip. No gifts are necessary—we really mean that.

Because we’re doing this whole thing a little later in life, we’re fortunate enough to have already accumulated most of the “newlywed essentials” (read: we own a toaster, pots and pans, and more throw pillows and wine glasses than any two people reasonably need).

We also want to take a moment to honor the bride’s mom, Denise Winter. Though she’s not here with us in person, we have no doubt she’s keeping a close eye on the party and cheering us on from a great seat.
