Fly into Denver International Airport (DEN) and then drive to Steamboat. The drive is roughly 3–3.5 hours, depending on weather and traffic, and takes you through some beautiful mountain scenery.

You can:

- Rent a car at the airport and enjoy the flexibility of having your own vehicle in town, or

- Book a shared or private shuttle service from Denver to Steamboat

(This option often gives you more flight times and airline choices, and can be more budget-friendly.)

You can also fly into Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN), which serves Steamboat Springs and is about 25–30 minutes from town, with shuttles, taxis, and rental cars available.

During the summer, there are little to no true “direct” flights into Steamboat that don’t go through Denver, so you’ll almost always be connecting via DEN. The primary airlines serving this route are United and Southwest.

(This option is convenient if you’d prefer to skip the longer drive and land just a short ride away from Steamboat.)

Steamboat has tons of great places to stay—from name-brand hotels and cozy boutique inns to VRBO and Airbnb rentals that are perfect for groups of friends or family.
